"Introduction to Real Estate Investing for the Stone-Cold Beginner"

WHEN: Saturday, June 21, 2008 (10:00am to 4:30pm)

WHERE: Private Class. You will be emailed the location of the seminar after registering.

WHAT: This one-day course is for absolute beginners who have absolutely no background or experience in real estate investing and want to learn more and explore the world of real estate investing. You will learn essential fundamentals and the basic theory, concepts, terminology, and mindset of real estate investing. This introductory course lays the foundation of the follow-up course, "How to Get Started in Real Estate Investing for the Stone-Cold Beginner." that will be offered in July 2008. Aside from a couple of very brief commercial breaks, there will be no hard-selling or hype of any kind. We will be very busy delivering several hours of real-world, street-learned information to you. Be very prepared to take many pages of notes.

Please be forewarned, this presentation will be presented in PG-13 language and tone and no minors are allowed in this class.

WHY: There is a huge need for an informative, no-hype educational program based on local, real-world experiences that few investors are willing to teach or share. There is also a need to clarify the myths and misconceptions of what true real estate investing is.

For example, people think that flipping, wholesaling, renovating, and rehabbing properties is real estate investing. None of those activities are true real estate investing. I am not saying you should not learn these trades but the fact is, they are real estate businesses that are taxed at ordinary income tax rates as if you were working for a living. True investing involves wealth and equity creating, understanding cash flows, financing, rates of returns, evaluating the local and national markets, acquiring and financing assets, asset management as well as making finance plays/maneuvers for profitable gain. Done correctly, the IRS recognizes them as either non-taxable events, passive income, or capital gains tax events which have rates that are far lower than earned income tax rates that most people pay in. (If what I said confused you, that is why you need to come to this course so that you can learn the terminology and concepts necessary to understand that statement. Don't simply run out and buy a property and hope you can figure these things out! It will both financially and emotionally hurt you!)

By my teaching this very inexpensive, information-packed one-shot seminar, you benefit from this experience through the questions and answers you will provide into this one-day course. (Note: Because I am more focused on my investing and publishing businesses, I do not actively or regularly teach seminars. This means nearly any seminar I give are are unique and one-shot deals with almost no chance of a repeat performance.)


REGISTRATION: Because of the recording logistics of this course, there will be very limited seating. We are only accepting 10 students into this seminar. It will be first-come, first-serve. You must register in advance. Absolutely, no registrations will be accepted at the door.

The tuition is only $39.00 per person, $69.00 per couple/business partners. Because of the imminent timing of this seminar and limited seating, there will be a $10.00 cancellation fee to issue any refunds. Please check your calendar and schedule carefully BEFORE registering.

What The Investors Roundtable Is About

Our community is dedicated to assisting growing Real Estate investors create, establish, and build their own real estate investment portfolio within a safe, professional, and supportive community. We spend very little time discussing flipping, wholesaling, rehabbing, and renovation of properties. We also do not have a "speaker of the month" with a sales pitch at the end. We do teach creative financing and partner financing techniques. We are in the business of getting down in the trenches of teaching and coaching people how to create powerful, positive results by expanding their real estate investment portfolios in the local area.

We believe in asset acquisitions. We believe in creating and building wealth (using active/semi-active equity and cash flow management techniques) through the accumulation of investment properties. That is what we specialize in.

We are NOT a real estate investment association! We are a private professional, real estate investing club/community for growing Real Estate Investors. We provide continuity, professionalism, organization, and management few "investment clubs" or "investment associations" can match. All students pay tuition to attend meeting sessions. We currently have no membership fees or subscription dues.
